Our Students

Hawkswood School serves students with multiple disabilities whose needs cannot be appropriately met by their local school districts. Our students typically have developmental disabilities that affect mobility, cognition, learning, and behavior, and require a variety of specialized educational services.

While our students come to us with a range of medical diagnoses including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and Aspergers syndrome, once they walk through our doors, all we see is a child with potential to learn.

Our responsibility to help them maximize that potential is evident in every decision and action we take.
